Residential Solar
Off-Grid Solar System
Complete energy independence with a battery bank — ideal where the grid is absent or unreliable.
How it works
Working principle
Panels charge a battery bank through a solar charge controller / off-grid inverter. Loads run from the batteries day and night; there is no connection to the DISCOM grid.
Advantages
- Works anywhere — no grid needed
- Full backup during long power cuts
- Replaces diesel generators
Keep in mind
- Higher cost due to batteries
- Not eligible for PM Surya Ghar subsidy (subsidy needs grid connection)
- Battery replacement every 7–10 years (Li) / 3–5 years (lead-acid)
What's in the system
Mono-PERC panels
Off-grid / PCU inverter with MPPT
